Our trip to Mexico

We went to Riviera Maya, Mexico from March 19-23. We had a blast. We stayed at the Royal Suites Yucatan, which is part of the Grand Palladium. It was a much larger resort than our honeymoon resort at the El Dorado Seaside 3 years ago, but once we got the lay of the land, we ended up liking it. There was a private beach area (that was on the opposite side of the resort from our room!) and we enjoyed the hibachi restaurant. On our 2nd day we got pretty sunburned. Oopsie! Even though we put on SPF 70! So we didn't get much of a tan after that! On our 3rd day we went on an excursion where we went through caverns, snorkeling in freshwater sinkholes, zip lining through the jungle and rappelling. On our 4th day we went snorkeling with the sea turtles and got to see some pretty cool reefs and fish. We also saw a mean looking sting ray! It was such a blessing that Ryan won this trip through his work from a sales contest last year, because we got some much needed romantic time and relaxation. We really got to connect!
